Ex:
The woman who lives next door is very beautiful
Who (=the woman) est le sujet. She lives next door and she’s very beautiful.
Where is the cake which was on the table?
Which (=the cake) est le sujet. The cake was on the table
Quand who/that/which sont l’objet du verbe de la phrase relative, alors tu peux l’omettre. Ex:
The woman who I met last night is a doctor.
Who (=the woman) est l’objet et I est le sujet. I met the woman last night. The woman I met last night is a doctor.
Have you found the book that you lost?
That (=the book) est l’objet et you est le sujet. You lost the key. Have you found the book you lost?
Autres exemples:
The woman (who) he fell in love with died in an accident.
He fell in love with a woman who died in an accident (dans ce cas, who n’est plus l’objet mais le sujet tu ne peux donc pas l’éliminer)
The boy (who) I was introduced to is very friendly.
I was introduced to a boy who is very friendly (meme remarque)
NB: la position finale des propositions (with, to ).
1)The people who we met at the party were very nice
2)The people who work in the office are very nice
3)The people who I talked to were very nice
4)What have you done with the money that I gave you?
5)Where is the money that was on the table?
6)It was a boring afternoon, the worst afternoon that I’ve ever spent.
7)It was a tragic accident, the worst thing that has ever happened to him.

5)Where is the money that was on the table?

Bonjour Ting
C'est cependant grammaticalement correct de dire 'the people who I talked were very nice'.
