Bonjour à tous,
I encountered the expression "all-to-familiar" in the sentence " there are images all-to-familiar to the people of France....". How do you translate it into French ?
Est-ce : "il y a des images bien que trop familières pour les français" ? ça irait ?

C'est un terme utilisé pour quelque chose qu'on voit souvent, mais c'est d'habitude négatif. Par exemple, "The sight of starving children is all too familiar to aid workers in northern Africa".
Notez que c'est 'too', et pas 'to'.
