Concerning multidisciplinary cares of Duchenne Muscular Dystophy (DMD), prevention of scoliosis remains a priority. Objectives are improving comfort of the patient and preventing the degradation of their respiratory function.
The place of scoliosis impact on lung function is actually discussed. We purposed then to study in a retrospective view the loss of vital capacity in 64 DMD patients, born between 1970 and 1990, and followed up for a mean of 13 years after they lost deambulation. Mean backward from arthrodesis was…. For the surgery group (52 patients)
Our multicentric study (4 french departments) did not allow to show an improvement of the lung function from surgery. The annual LVC decrease was the same between presurgery and postsurgery follow up in the 52 operated patients, and for the 12 non operated patients results was the same too.
Improving respiratory function must not be a benefit to expect from surgery, neither an argue to tell to patients to make them accept the surgery.
Our results are concording with the most of the recent ones, and rise the question of a systematic spinal surgery, still widely purposed.
Furthermore, 2 recents studies report 25% patients with DMD would suffer from a moderate and non evolutive scoliosis, that would likely to be improved by early introduction of corticosteroids.

Il est demandé aux membres qui auront la gentillesse de répondre de signaler les fautes, d'aider le demandeur à se corriger mais de ne jamais faire le travail à sa place. Cette règle est incontournable sur ce site d'apprentissage. Merci de votre participation.

Difficult to be sure what you intend to say, but here are some gramatical corrections:
Concerning multidisciplinary cases of Duchenne Muscular Dystophy (DMD), the prevention of scoliosis remains a priority. The objectives are to improve the comfort of the patient and to prevent the degradation of their respiratory function.
We discussed how scoliosis affects lung function. We intended then to study, retrospectively, the loss of vital lung capacity in 64 DMD patients born between 1970 and 1990, and we followed up on average 13 years after they lost [deambulation?]. The average time before the onset of arthrodesis was…for the surgery group comprising 52 patients.
Our study (which covered 4 french departments) did not show any improvement in the lung function arising from surgery. The annual LVC decrease was the same in the 52 patients operated on as for the 12 patients not operated on.
Consequently, our study showed that no improvement in respiratory function could be expected from surgery. There is therefore no argument in favour of advising patients to accept surgery.
Our results are consistent with other recent studies, which consider the question of whether systematic spinal surgery should still be widely pursued/proposed.
Furthermore, 2 recent studies report that 25% of patients with DMD would suffer from a moderate and passive scoliosis, that is likely to be improved by the early introduction of corticosteroids.

Desolé Anion, D'abord tu vas te faire grondé par Brdg, et je suis pas entièrement d'accord avec tous tes changements.
Je suis presque certain Lena veut bien dire Care et pas cases.
Actually - is currently being.
Mean is acceptable, although average would be more common.
We purposed - we propose (we proposed? I am not sure which tense you meant to use here.)
Deambulation is a perfectly good word, and I can believe the correct one in a medical text.
Neither an argue - Nor an argument to be used ...
C'est vrai que sans l'original c'est pas toujours clair ce que tu as l'intention de dire Lena.
But an excellent try at a very difficult text.
