Martin Webb has worked for the Reuters New Agency for ten years. He describes the company.
Reuters is one of the world's biggest news agencies. It SUPLIED (supply) news and stock market prices to media and financial institutions all over the world. It STARTED (start) by Paul Reuter in 1849 ---with pigeons!
Reuter WAS BORN (be born) in 1816 in Germany. During the 1940s he HAD BEEN EMPLOYED as a bank clerk in Berlin.
German Bankers NEEDED (need) to know the prices on the Paris stock echange, but the French telegraph system only went as far as Belgium. From there the information IS SENT (send) to germany by train. The journey TOOK (take) nine hours. The same information WAS CARRIED (carry) by Paul Reuter's pigeons in only two hours!
Reuters HAS CHANGED (change) a lot since those days.
Over the past 50 years, we've opened offices in many different countries and we HAVE still EXPANDED (expand).

Bon si j'ai bien compris le but de ton exercice il fallait conjuguer le verbe entre parenthèses au temps le plus approprié
Ca me semble pas mal du tout sauf pour le "IS sent " qui n'est pas du tout logique si tu lis le reste du paragraphe
