Hello!! How r u? I need help for my english exercice!!! I suppose you are good in english? I will be very delighted if you help me?
Can u help me for theses sentences
PUt each verd in brackets into a suitable tense:
Mary (not wear)... her glasses at the time, so she (notice)... what kind of car the man (drive)....
Nick (lie)... down on the grass for a while, next to some tourists who (feed)... the ducks.
Tony (admit)... that he (hit)... the other car, but said that he(not damage)... it.
Sorry, i(not listen)....to you.I (think)...about something else.
The police (get)...to Clare's house as fast as they could, but the burglas (dissapear)...
I (phone)... you last night but you (not answer)...What do (you do)...?

Des fautes à chaque phrase
Reprenez tout calmement; est-ce que ceci est possible selon vous?:
didn't wearing
vous ne pouvez pas avoir l'auxiliaire do et le verbe en -ing en même temps;corrigez donc,et ainsi de suite.

Mary (not wear)did'nt wear her glasses at the time, so she (notice)noticed what kind of car the man (drive)was driving
(je ne vois pas trop comment conjuger not wear il faut penser à elle ne portait pas je pense)
le sens général est que sans lunettes elle n'a pas vu quelle voiture l'homme conduisait;
1)'at the time= à ce moment-là' ce qui implique la forme progressive
2)sans lunettes elle n'a pas remarqué...
3) 'was driving' est juste
Analysez les autres phrases de cette façon.

- Mary (not wear)has not wear her glasses at the time: PRESENT PERFECT: HAVE + PARTICIPE PASSE DU VERBE.
so she (notice)has not noticed what kind of car the man (drive)was driving: OK.
- Nico (lie)lay down on the grass for a while, next to some tourists who (feed) was feeding the ducks: ATTENTION: TOURISTS est au pluriel et WAS doit avoir un sujet au singulier!
- Tony (admit)has admitted: je mettrai le prétérit.
that he (hit)had hit the other car: OK
but said that he(not damage)did not dammage it: mettre au même temps que HIT.

Bonjour ben132,
Je ne comprends pas pourquoi vous avez supprimé certaines de vos réponses; même si elles contenaient des fautes il faut les laisser;on perd le fil de la correction,on ne voit pas vos progrès ou vos faiblesses; il n'est pas honteux non plus de faire des fautes quand on apprend.
Sincèrement je suis surprise et un peu déçue aussi.

désolé je ne voyais pas l'utilité de laisser des phrases pleines de fautes
