Manchester is a city in the northwest of England of 458 100 inhabitants in 2008, the Manchurians. The city has the status of Estate and is in the center of a big town of two and a half million persons. There are 76.7 per cents of whites. Some work allowed the opening in 1894 “Manchester Ship Canal”, a large channel connecting the city to the ocean.
This made of Manchester, in 40 km of the coast one of the main English ports.
In 2002 the games of the Commonwealth were held successfully. The principal stadium was reconverted in football stadium.
