Tournures GB incomprises
Message de carine13 posté le 29-03-2010 à 21:30:18 (S | E | F)

Bonsoir,

This is not what I am thinking of right now.
"thinking of right"?

I don't want to hear about the talks of plagues and fires.

Is it a sort of private salvation you are trying to work out?
"to work out"? pour s'assurer?

Merci pour votre aide.

Bonjour,

This is not what I am thinking of right now.
"thinking of right"?
what I am thinking of = ce à quoi je pense
right now = à l'instant

I don't want to hear about the talks of plagues and fires....c'est un style plutôt littéraire que du langage courant.Au quotidien on dirait "...to hear of plague and fire.

Bonjour, I am thinking of right now ;
dans cette phrase, deux choses:
la première est le phrasal verb: to think of ( on peut dire aussi, to think about)ET RIEN D'AUTRE !
Le deuxième point c'est right now qui veut dire tout de suite, immédiatement ou dans une certaine limite, en ce moment;
tu n'as qu'à mettre une virgule, aprés think of, et ta phrase retrouve son équilibre et son sens...easy enough, isn't it?
