Traduction présentation
Message de profmika posté le 13-10-2010 à 11:12:18 (S | E | F)
Rebonjour,

Dans notre cas, je traduirais la phrase par "so, we'll be polite and we'll begin to introduce the beautiful maid to you"

Qu'en dites-vous, est-ce correct?
Merci!

Bonjour.

Good afternoon. It's a great honour to be here with you today. As you can see, we are four in front of you and firstly, we'd like
to introduce ourselves to you.
So, the beautiful maiden is Hulia Tulumoglu. Then, this is Benjamin Bodson, Luigi Scuotto and myself, Michael Dubois.
Each of us works as "PR" for a new magazine called "modern man".
Everybody knows that society is in constant development and obviously that's a good thing. So the purpose of this talk is
to put you in the picture about our new magazine and to show you how it is able to answer modern man's needs.
We've divided our presentation into four parts: the typical reader, the appearance of this new magazine, the different features and lastly
practical aspect of things (with price, monthly issue, etc).
We would like this presentation is interactive so please feel free to interrupt us if you have any questions.
I stop talking and I give the speech to my colleague, Luigi Scuotto.

Bonjour,

A suivre de bridg:

1.It's going to be rain

Rain is a verb, alors it's going to rain (futur) ou it's raining (present continuous)

Happy wednesday,

Merc d'avance

Bonjour profmika ( and dear may)

A pretty young girl , miss or young woman ( rather).

Pour présenter : let us introduce ourselves, let me introduce the four of us (us four); --this is pretty young ...Let us listen to her , now !

PS : Another part : c'est neutre , donc " it"

"We would like this presentation to be interactive, therefore..(prop.infinitive après verbes de volonté (entre autres).

Good luck !Have a nice day, too !

Hi everybody!
I'll also try to give my contribution. But first I remind that Iam a new member of the Club.
For the sentence "Bon, nous allons être polis et commencer par présenter la jolie demoiselle" here is my suggestion.
First we remind that it's important to consider the context, and that there are many translations possible. I suggest this: "well, we'll be ploite polite and start by introducing the beautiful lady". I use the present participle because I suppose the action is taking place right the moment just when the sentence is given. I am waiting for your suggestion and comment on this.
Thanks.

Je suggèrerai : --As for introducing ourselves, let's be gentlemen ! Shall we start with this pretty (lovely) young lady ?

See you...(une forme verbale en - ing après certains verbes ou des prépositions (le cas ,ici) s'appelle un gérondif.

Bonjour,

Good afternoon. It's a great honour to be here with you today. As you can see, we are four (in front of you inutile à mon avis)(there are four of us) and firstly( first passe mieux), we'd like
to introduce ourselves (to you).
(Let me first introduce this beautiful lady...)So, the beautiful maiden(très démodé ! dans les chansons de Joan Baez, les ballades, maid ou maiden insiste sur la jeune fille non mariée, sa virginité, j'ai un peu peur que dans votre discours .....)) is Hulia Tulumoglu. Then, this is Benjamin Bodson, Luigi Scuotto and myself,(je crois qu'on dirait simplement I am M D) Michael Dubois.
Each of us works (we all work est plus léger) as "PR" for a new magazine called "modern man".
Everybody knows that society is in constant development and obviously that's a good thing. So the purpose of this talk is
to put you in the picture about our new magazine and to show you how (it is able to est un peu lourd, j'aurais dit how it can answer, how conveniently it can answer the needs of the modern man) answer modern man's needs.
We've divided our presentation into four parts: the typical reader, the appearance of this new magazine, the different features and finally (lastly)
practical aspect of things / the practicalities (les détails pratiques) (with price, monthly issue, etc).
We would like this presentation is (impossible, il faut mettre un infinitif)interactive so please feel free to interrupt us if you have any questions.
construction infinitive: I would like you to ask questions.
I stop talking and I give the speech to (ne se dit pas, en tapant paroles en double click, le dictionnaire donne:
"et maintenant, je donne or laisse la ~ à mon collègue and now I hand over to my colleague;"
