How does one paint a true picture of Pauline Roy? There are so many twists and turns in the unbelievably full life of this 76 year old woman that one never knows where to start except to go to the beginning.
After graduation in 1965 she went back to teach in rural village of her birth. Being adventurous, she developed an attraction to social work and went to university to study . It was during this stint that she ran into Cecil Roy, a Manchester school classmate whom she married, changing her name to Pauline Roy , a banner she wears with pride.
