hi! Hello,
Can you help me please?
I did an exercise in which the correct answers were:
1-that's good to hear
2- Have you heard of the accident in Elm road?

1 - Why is it "hear" and not "listen"?
2- why is it "heard of" and not "heard about"?

Hello
We use 'hear' when sounds come into our ears whether we want it or not.
We use ' listen' when we pay attention to what we hear, that is we want to hear something.
