Bonjour!
Quand le Prince Jammy a succéd??la Reine Lucile? .
Voici ce que je propose:

The Prince was 63 when he took over for his mother; he had been waiting over 37 years for this day to come. The Prince attended the best schools; he knows the answers to the most complicated political issues. Despite his horse riding talents, he did have a few serious accidents. But he survived. He has always stood up against hunting. The Prince pays for anything he orders and can remember every single face, even the names. He always hangs around with his dog (oops...j'ai du mal a saisir le sens en francais ici!). The day he was crowned, the Prince asked a glass of wine, and before he drank, he sworn on oath of loyalty.

and he does not rely on anyone when it comes to his fellow dog's lunchtime.

A tout à l'heure si j'ai survécu...

Good morning everybody,
Beware of the queen, jammy!

When the prince succeeded to his mother he was 63 and had been wainting for that day to come for 37 years.
The prince went to the best schools, he knows how to cope with the most difficult political issues.
Although he is an excellent horseman, he had several serious accidents to which he survived; and he has always been against hunting with hounds.
The prince pays for everything he orders and remembers every face and even the names. He never separates from his dog and when it's time to feed his loyal friend, he doesn't rely on anybody else.
The day he was crowned, the prince asked for a glass of wine and before he drank, he swore to obey laws and custums.
(what a brave prince!)
jammy.

Dors bien jammy!

When the prince succeeded to his mother, he was sixty-three years old and he had been waiting for this day for thirty-seven years (ou pour éviter 'for-for' : it's been thirty-seven years since he had been waiting for that day). The prince has attended the best schools and knows how to find the answer to the most difficult political matters. Although he is an excellent horse rider, he has had several serious accidents, which he has lived through . He has always opposed to hunting. The prince pays for anything he orders (manquerait plus que ça!) and remembers faces as well as names. Never does he part from his dog! He never relies on anyone when it's time for his faithful companion's meal! The very day of his coronation, the prince asked for a glass of wine and promised he would obey the laws and traditions.

Hello jammy and everybody,

When the Prince succeeded his mother, he was sixty-three years old and had been waiting that day for thirty-seven years. The Prince has attended the best schools so that he's able to answer to the most complicated political questions. Though he's an excellent horse rider, he has had lots of serious accidents which he has survived, and has always been against hunting. The Prince pays for everything he requests and remembers all faces and surnames too. He doesn't ever separate from his dog and doesn't have trust in anybody when the lunchtime of his faithful companion comes. On the day of coronation, the Prince asked for a glass of wine and promised to observe laws and customs before drinking it.

Thank you for this hard exercise.

1- Succeed : 'I hope I will succeed the King of 'Nowhere - Land' in a few months. I think I will succeed him because I have as many intelluctual capacities as he has, that is ...'
2- Obey: ' Why should I obey jammy? - because he is the one who told you to do it!'
3- Etre plus idio-matique: remplacer 'to know how to' par un modal de capacité intellectuelle: => ' Am I able to do such a thing? How can I say 'to know how to' differently?'...
4- On the day :'On the day of my coronation I won't invite Mr jammy!'
5- 'On dit to 'BE opposed to something' :'All right! I have always been opposed to tormenting people and... animals!'
6- Thank you sir, I won't forget, you can be sure.
7- 'Am I the only one kept in detention for bad work?'
jammy. (You know I have plenty of time, nothing to do, no dog to walk, no cooking, no housework, no marking, no gardening...don't you? )

Hello,

When the Prince succeeded his mother, he was sixty-three, and he had been expecting that day for thirty- seven years. The Prince has attended the best schools, he can answer the most complicated political questions. Though he is an excellent horse-rider, he has had several serious accidents, which he survived , and he has always fought riding to hounds. The Prince pays for everything ordered and remembers every face ( and even names ) . He never parts from his dog and never trusts anyone when it is time to feed his faithful friend. On his Coronation day the Prince asked for a glass of wine and before drinking he promised to obey the laws and the traditions.
Ma punition donnée par Jammy :
I will survive Jammy’s translations
Jardin and Bridg will survive them too !!!

Coronation day m’a fait penser au feuilleton “Coronation Street” oops !

See you soon

When the prince succeeded his mother, he was sixty-three years old, and he had been waiting for that day for thirty-seven years. The prince has attended the best schools, he can answer the most complicated political questions. Although he is an excellent horseman (rider), he has had many serious accidents, which he survived, and he has always opposed hunting.
The prince pays for everything he orders and remembers all faces (and even names). He never parts with his dog and he trusts nobody when it is his faithful companion’s mealtime. On the day of his coronation, the prince asked for a glass of wine and, before drinking it, he promised to obey the laws and customs
