I look up word in a dictionnary. (J'ai vu aussi look up to - est-ce correct de dire I look up to my parents. ???)

2-look at
What are you looking at? - She won't look at a man. - Just look at that!

3-look for
Go and look for him. (aller le chercher)
He's looking for trouble. (il cherche les ennuis)

4-look after
Can you look afther the house for us ? (peux-tu garder ou faire attention à la maison ?)
Could you look after my things while I go to school? (pourriez-vous surveiller mes affaires pendant que je vais à l'école ?)

5-look back
Look back on the past. (se retourner sur le passé)
He has never looked back since that day. (depuis ce jour sa situation n'a cessé de s'améliorer)

6-look foward to
I'm looking forward to seeing Frédérique again. (il me tarde de revoir Frédérique hihihihihi)!!!!!

Frédérique - je dois te dire que j'ai pris ces phrases dans mon dictionnaire et ça ma permis de comprendre des expressions et d'apprendre de nouvelles phrases!!
