= [was, were, was not/wasn't, were not/weren't]+ base verbale +ing
Ex: I was reading a magazine (Je lisais un magazine) / She wasn't running very fast (Elle ne courait pas très vite) / Were they travelling by car? (Est-ce qu'ils voyageaient en voiture?)-

2- Emplois:
Ex: She was at home. She was phoning her mother.
1- Carol and her sister/at the market / sell vegetables from their garden
2- Tom/in his car/drive to the airport
3- Kate/at the station/wait for the Manchester train
4- Mr and Mrs Frazer/in the the park/ sit near the lake
5- And you? I...
Application 2 = Trouvez les questions/ Utilisez was/were +/-ing/ Utilisez what, where, why si nécessaire.
ex: he/work/in 1990 ? - No, he wasn't.
=> Was he working in 1990?
1- you/wait for them ? - At the bus-stop.
2- you/do/at 2 o'clock? - I was asleep.
3- it/rain/ when you got up? - No, it wasn't. It was sunny.
4- Anne/drive/ so fast ? - Because she was in a hurry.
5- Tim/watch ? - A very good reportage.
Application 3 = traduire.
1- Que faisaient-elles à 6 heures?
2- Elles prenaient le thé. (to have tea)
A bientôt.

4. Mr and Mrs Frazer were in the park. They were sitting near the lake.

Sorry!

Hello, post-sriptum, lyne and grabuge!
Hold on!

Hi, idem...

la n°4 j'ai mis How many au lieu de How much (confusion trop bête)
la n°9 j'ai posé cette question : Who did she wed with ? cela veut bien dire Avec qui s'est-elle mariée ? pour la bonne réponse : Who did Aunt Alice wed in 1942 ? cela veut dire la même chose

see you later Jardin

Helo everyone.
L'exercice 1798 m'a posé, comme c'était prévisible, quelques soucis d'écriture... J'ai obtenu 12/20 à cet exercice.

- We left (at 6.00 in the morning).
When did we leave? Faux!
Réponse correcte: WHAT TIME DID YOU LEAVE?

- At 5 o'clock? We were (having tea), I think.
What were you doing at 5 o'clok? (horreur et damnation : clock !)
Faux! Réponse correcte: WHAT WERE YOU DOING AT 5 O'CLOCK?

- I told you (to brake)!
What did you tell? Faux!
Réponse correcte: WHAT DID YOU TELL ME TO DO?

- We were running (because...er... well...er...).
Why were you runnning? Faux! (damned! 2 "n" in running!)
Réponse correcte: WHY WERE YOU RUNNING?

Thank you.

Hello Jardin

HOW MUCH DID YOU PAY FOR THEIR FLAT? Etourderie, j'ai mis you au lieu de they !

WHAT WERE YOU HAVING AT 5 O'CLOCK ?

, marie. Tu as dû faire un commentaire alors?
*=> On se revoit...

- raining (pas de doublement de consonne).
