To begin I am going to define the notions of myth and heroA myth can be defined as a story about gods or heroes, it can be a popular belief or a tradition or a false notion. A hero can be a mythological figure, a person who is admired for his or her achievements, a superhero or maybe a role model or an icon.
Which types of revolution are going to allow the creation of several heroes ? in the notions of myth and hero, I am going to speak various people having contributed to the improvement of the human conditions, in the musical revolution, in the revolution for the gender equality and the fashion ..
Music revolution we can see that in sixties a new revolution appears , as the music revolution .In fact, the music industry flourished like never before with 'The Beatles' leading the way, followed by the who and « The Rolling Stones », they have a worldwide populararity and still famous today. They have an influence on people of worldwide , They can be models for the population, they can influence people, and can deliver messages or serve of spokesperson; they are heroes because they help the population to feel better favor has the music . These large groups of pop music developed through pirate radio. We can see in the article of « The real story behind britain's rock 'n' roll » from NPR, an American radio station, published in 2009. the rock'n roll was first banished British but 20 million British waves listened through pirate radio stations . Despite the ban, the pirate radio continued to broadcast. In 1964, the pirate radio “radio caroline” was the first offshore radio. This war between the government and the radio finallment gave birth to the opening of a pop BBC radio. Thus, it allowed the emergence of new musical styles, especially rock. This style is represented by different group such as The Rolling Stones and the Beatles. To end on the musical revolution; all the people having in this revolution are heroes, and myths because their popularity is still expanding today and because they had the courage to oppose the government , The musical revolution allowed an openmindedness, it is an opportunity for the freedom of expression because the music can allow to deliver messages. The fashion also allowed an openmindedness and an improvement of the conditions of the woman
The fashion revolution :
The "super models" such as Twiggy and Mary Quant have revolutionized the fashion of the 60s. Mary Quant, a designer, invented the miniskirt in 1964. Miniskirt revolutionized fashion 60s revealing women's legs like never before. This is a very strong symbol of liberation for women. The model Twiggy, which runs in a miniskirt for Mary Quant, is the personification of this "revolution." Twiggy is an emblem of the 60s. The appearance of the miniskirt has favored the appearance of panty in the mid 60s. Over time, the miniskirt was modernized and diversified and become friend of women . The revolution of the fashion is the first step towards the Women's Liberation. The revolution is going to urge the women to fight against a sexist government for equality . The revolution for sex equality : The women of the 1960s are heroes, they fought for the equality and to fight against the sexism . Everything to begin during a strike in 1968 in the factory Ford to Dagenham, it is here that the fight towards the equality begins. Indeed the workers of the factory feel humbled and to exploit because in equal work they have no same salary as the men . The women show their anger in the street with several slogans as " we want the respect " " we want the sex equality » .The spokesman of these resistant is called Rose Boland. In the document "no surrender", we can see that Rita opposes the sexist government . Rose Boland is the symbol of the liberation of the women, it is a heroine but also a myth because his fight continues.
